Now that our wonderful celebrations of Palm Sunday and Easter are over, we have two very special worship services in the next two weeks.
Sunday, April 23 will be Youth Sunday, when the youth of our Church will lead the worship service. I am planning a special sermon for that day that I hope will speak to all of us, not just the youth.
The youth always do a great job when they lead us in worship, and I hope that you will be present to show your support of them.
Sunday, April 30 will be Choir Appreciation Sunday, one of my favorite worship services of the year. Kristen will have all of our choirs sharing in the service and it promises to not only sound beautiful, but to look beautiful as well.
It will be a wonderful opportunity to show our appreciation to these talented people who volunteer their services every week.
Finally, almost every Sunday I have had people ask me when my last Sunday will be. My final service will be Sunday, June 11. We will have only one service that day at 10:30 a.m.
As always, I look forward to seeing you, especially in worship.
