Young Energetic Seniors

Adults of all ages are encouraged to participate in the activities planned by the Young Energetic Seniors (YES)! Events occur throughout the year. Please contact Sue Babb for more information.  Activities include:

  • Special events
  • Trips
  • Mission
  • Member care

Since YES was organized in 1995 we have funded projects including:

  • elevator repairs
  • volunteer bus funds
  • tables
  • chairs for Fellowship Hall
  • linens
  • computers
  • youth missions
  • two remodeled bathrooms
  • PowerPaks for Kids
  • volunteer hours for WF public school tutoring in reading
In the past several months YES has purchased a microwave for the kitchen, two tables for the Children’s Sunday School classrooms, and automatic paper towel dispensers for women’s bathrooms.
Funds for YES projects have come from style shows, Cafe Broadway, the YES cookbook and other entertainment
