Hanging
of the Greens Service1st Sunday in Advent
Together we read scriptures, sing Advent and Christmas carols, and decorate
our Gothic Sanctuary in casual fashion. It is a festive service, filled
with Advent decorations, symbolism, and music as we prepare to celebrate
the arrival of a special holiday season.

and Carols: Traditional Candlelight Service2nd or 3rd Sunday in Advent

the pastorate of Dr. Paul E. Martin, will feature our entire music ministry
group (children, youth, and adult choirs, Asbury Ringers, and organ), presenting

The chancel choir and orchestra present a special concert on the Sunday
before Christmas.
Christmas
Eve Candlelight ServiceThis service of worship and candlelight is one of the highlights of the Christmas season. We will have Holy Communion, "O Holy Night" will be sung, Dr. Allen will preach, and we will close the service with candles lighting the darkness while we sing "Silent Night." This is one of the most sacred and beautiful services of the entire Christian year.

Our organist, Dr. Kiyo Watanabe, gives annual organ concerts on our magnificent
79-rank Garland Pipe
Organ.
