vision is to be a church where God lives in us and through us One of the ways in which we seek to be the church is through Christian education. We truly believe that education leads to better equipped disciples of Jesus Christ. We provide education to this congregation and this community through our worship services and through the many opportunities listed below - each of which provides and encourages people to grow in their faith through study, prayer, and fellowship. For adults, growth opportunities are found in Sunday School, various Bible studies & enrichment opportunities, the Society of Saint Simeon, the Library, and more. Click

in the future! Pre-school children (age 3-5) have a special Sunday School Class that is designed just for them. For Children, Kindergarten through 5th grade, we have Sunday School classes where caring and dedicated teachers assist these children in exploring their faith through our innovative Rotation Model for Sunday School. For 6th Graders, there is Confirmation where they are taught the essentials of the Christian faith in order to be prepared to be able to accept full membership into the congregation. Our Nursery provides a warm and caring atmosphere for infants and toddlers. Other ministry opportunities for children include Music 'n' More, the Easter Egg Hunt, AIM (Adventures in Mission), Vacation Bible School, Kingdom Kids, the Fall Carnival, Christmas Giftmaking Workshop, and more. FUMC also offers the finest in child care and child develpment programs with our School for Little People pre-school with extended care, a state licensed facility which offers full-time quality child care in a Christian environment for children six weeks old through Pre-K.
