Thursday Morning Study

This is a dedicated group that studies deep theological subjects and does thought-provoking Bible study throughout the school year, taking a break during the summer months. Recent studies have included:

    • Jesus in the Gospels Disciple Bible Study (comparing the four gospels side-by-side)
    • The Book of Amos (a study of how this Old Testament prophet still speaks to us today);
    • Original Blessing (a book review of Matthew Fox’s book that reminds us God’s creation was good, no very good.);
    • Saving Jesus (this DVD study helped us look closely at the Jesus in Scripture, history, and our personal experience); and
    • MORE!

Look below for information about our most recent study!

Check us out and join us most Thursdays:

10:30 am-12:00 noon in Room 113 (Sweeton Room)

Coming up: a study of Galatians based on God Unbound by Elaine Heath, Dean of Duke Divinity School (starts July 13)
