About our class
We are an active and fun group that began as a young couples class. Today we are still active in this church and our community, and most of us are in our 60s or older. Our class is made up of men and women who are married and widowed. We are known for the friendship and companionship that we share with one another, and we invite others to share in that with us! We take an offering every week that helps us to provide for various types of outreach throughout the year.
What do we study?
To guide us in our study of the Bible, we use the Adult Bible Study series, also known as the International Lesson Series. It presents stimulating lessons that explore the biblical message and how to apply it to daily life. It moves from a focus on the Word of God to reflection on personal, family, church, and community concerns. Our primary teacher is Mary Lou Rowland.

Where does the Win-Some Class meet?
We meet in the Rec. Lobby basement area of the Education Wing in room 3-R.
What time do we meet?
Our class meets from 9:15 to 10:15 each Sunday morning, allowing time for members to attend either the 8:30 or 10:30am Worship Services at FUMC.
In addition to our weekly class, we also participate in periodic luncheons, parties, and trips. Every 4th Wednesday of each month we meet to eat at Luby’s.
