Angel Tree 2017

All 100 names have been taken off the tree. Be sure to turn your gifts back in to the office by December 12.

Stop by the church office and pick a name – or more than one – from the tree!

Angel Tree is a mission of the Salvation Army to help parents in need provide Christmas presents for their children. How does it work? Four simple steps:

1. Choose a tag from the tree. This tag contains the name, age, and gender of a child, along with clothing and shoe sizes and a few gift requests.

2. Sign out the child(ren) you choose. There is a list next to the tree for your name and contact information. This is to help us make sure all the gifts have been bought and returned when the Salvation Army volunteers come to pick them up.

3. Shop for that child. Take your tag for reference and have fun! Gifts can come from any store and you can spend as much or as little as you can afford.

4. Return the gift(s) to FUMC. Please bring them unwrapped by Tuesday, December 12. If you wish to place multiple items in a large gift bag for ease of carrying, that is fine. Be sure to return the tag from the tree as well, so the Salvation Army volunteers will know to which child the gift(s) belong. Remember to sign your child(ren) back in, as well.
